Subject: Feeling frustrated Posted: Wednesday, December 4, 2013 - 10:24:29

I am sorry that you have to go through this ordeal. However, I do feel that since your stbx has failed to appreciate the importance of a 25 year old marriage, he deserves neither your attention nor frustration. Just think about it, first he ruined your happiness and walked out on you and now you are allowing him to control your emotions because you are placing so much importance on what he is doing or saying. Give yourself the time to mourn the end of a very long marriage but make sure that you do not dwell on unhappy feelings for too long because it will only be self-destructive.

oh dear - poor you... He is most likely oblivious to yr distress - he probably believes he left a dead marrige, and he is unlikely to appreciate the depth of your feelings... My advice wld be to set some ground rules that suit u. If you dont want him in your home, tell him? Does he have a key? If so, ask for it back, or change the locks. Hope you feel better today. J.
