Subject: KJ Wright could return vs Cowboys Posted: Friday, April 12, 2019 - 07:27:52

Bobby Wagner Tyler Lockett Jersey ,  The Seattle Seahawks have opened this season in arguably their worst shape since Pete Carroll took over in 2010. Doug Baldwin, KJ Wright, Bobby Wagner, Byron Maxwell, Dontae Johnson, DJ Fluker, Ed Dickson, J.D. McKissic, Kam Chancellor, Tre Flowers Russell Wilson Jersey , and Jamarco Jones have headlined those injuries, but at least a couple of them could return next week to face the Dallas Cowboys.Carroll said on Monday morning that Wagner and Wright could return for the next one, a huge boost to the defense, which played well but looked slower than usual in their loss to the Chicago Bears.“Hopeful” is not nearly as good as “Probable” but it is better than OUT, which is what Baldwin appears to be. Wagner is hurting from a groin injury, Wright had his knee scoped, and Baldwin is recovering from a partially torn MCL. Fluker and Flowers seemed to be gametime(ish) decisions this week, so there’s likely hope they could return as well. Not good is the new injury to center Justin Britt. Backup Joey Hunt played 11 snaps this week in his place.Derek Carr’s Seahawks jab comes back to bite him in hilarious fashion When the Seattle Seahawks play the Oakland Raiders in London, it’ll be the first time that Marshawn Lynch has faced his former team. The Seahawks may be 2-3, but the Raiders are a woeful 1-4 and were blown out by the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday. You may remember that when Lynch joined the Raiders last year Doug Baldwin Jersey , Derek Carr was also handed a 5-year, $125 million contract extension. At his press conference, he made this not-so-subtle jab at the Seahawks over not giving Lynch the football at the 1-yard line at the end of Super Bowl XLIX.Well guess what happened in the Raiders-Chargers game? Oakland is down 20-3 in the 3rd quarter, trying to get back into things. They only needed one yard, and Lynch had already scored on two goal-line plunges earlier this season. Well they threw the ball... nothing wrong with that. Carr decided that Chargers linebacker Melvin Ingram was the open receiver on this play, though. Carr has now thrown eight interceptions through five games, the most in the NFL. That’s $25 million a year well spent by Oakland. Hopefully he continues his generosity in London next Sunday against the Seahawks, winners of Super Bowl XLVIII.
