Subject: At what date are finances taken from for financial resolution? Posted: Friday, September 12, 2014 - 11:39:00

My x and I separated april 2013.  He has delayed everything since September 2013 and the decree nisi came through in august.  we both had good pensions on the split but in July 2014 he was sacked and apparently lost his police pension.  My solicitor says that it cant go in the pot and he could end up with everything.

He left the house in april and told me it could get repossessed for all he cares.  I have rented it out paid £3000 on issues and shortfall of mortgage.  I have full residence of two children and he does not contribute to them.,

Would he get my pension and house etc even though he lost his which was much better than my pension 16 months after separation.  During which he would not reply to solicitor letters demanding eform or sign divorce papers.  As you can imagine my solicitor fees have been considerable because of this.

Surely this cant be fair?  I have to house and look after the children?

thanks
