Hey guys ... been a while ... hope all are snatching victory from the jaws of defeat.
Like many on here, mortgage arrears have been a by product of a messy divorce. It certainly was the case with me. I have just recieved a letter back from Building Society offering all arrears charges plus interest going back to 2001. This equates to £2400. So get those letters off, poining out the unfair charges.
Now at the FDR 6 months ago Ex-Ted got house and I got £60k and 10% mesher. As this \"rebate\" is in addition to the original agreement will it be a case of apply the 10% mesher or can I claim half as we agreed a clean break.
Some of you from past experience will say \"get on with it and just let her keep the extra\" but I still have legal fees to pay and potentially more legal fees in the future so could use a little help right now.
